I don’t like this weather at all. One day it is cold, then it was about 75 degrees for a couple days, then it went right back down to 40 degrees. The weather has been going up and down all month and making me sick. But I am sure it is only going to continue to get colder from now on. I hope it doesn’t snow anytime soon... I hate winter, and I am not looking forward to walking in the snow to my classes! I wish it could be summer a little longer, I guess I will just have to consider moving somewhere warmer when I’m older..

I am glad that we didn’t have class last Wednesday and today, especially since it is my only class on these two days. I have been having more time to work on my research paper, but I am still having a hard time putting it all together. The one-on-one conference helped, I just needed to find a way to make my thesis more specific and not so generalized. Which is a little easier then what I was doing before but still needs a lot of work before Wednesday. But I should be able to get it done with this free time that I have.

I went and experienced Dayglow, or “Life In Color”, for my first time Friday night with my friend Britney. It is a huge paint party where they play music. It was a lot of fun and I had a blast, except for when I lost Britney in the crowd of people. My phone also died but thankfully I found her. Dayglow was in East Lansing and that’s where Britney is from, so I stayed at her house and ended up staying there Saturday night too. We watched the Michigan vs. Michigan State game on Saturday. Michigan won but I don’t really have a favorite team, so the outcome didn't mean too much to me. I had a ton of fun though this weekend going to Dayglow, hanging out with Britney, and meeting her family and friends.

How does cyber bullying affect the lives of the victims?

The effects of cyber bulling can be serious. Cyber bullying can make the victim become depressed and confused about why they are being targeted, sometimes for no reason except for the entertainment of others or that the ones doing it are just mean-spirited. The victim may become angry, stressed, and lose self-esteem. They can feel lonely and not know whom to turn to because some may not see it as a big issue. In some cases, suicide can even occur.

This weekend has been kinda dull. It rained pretty much everyday and I couldn’t do much. I hate the rain so much, and I don’t like going outside when it’s like this. Also, it was boring because most of my friends went home. I spent most of my weekend studying for two exams this week. I went shopping with my sister yesterday, which I should’nt have done since I should be saving my money more, but I had fun. We also went to the Crow’s Nest to eat. She had taken me there once before, and I think it is a pretty good and unique restaurant. Then I ended up staying the night at her place. Overall, it was an alright weekend, but it could have been a little bit more exciting…

We got our rough drafts back in class yesterday. I am glad that we get an extra few days to finish it, because mine still needs a little bit more work. I will be working on that throughout this weekend. Also, we got a group assignment where we have to prove the character that we were assigned is the monster in the movie. Our group has to describe why Carrie’s mom is the monster, which was kind of hard. The next assignment where we have to analyze a piece of art of our choice sounds pretty interesting and fun though.
